Carol Sommerfelt, a nationally recognized embryologist with the National Embryo Donation Center, will provide detailed information about the medical process associated with adopting an embryo including medical assessment, protocols, success rates, and risk factors involved. Following the presentation, Ms. Sommerfelt will answer individual questions from the audience.

Eric Phelps, an attorney specializing in reproductive law, will offer information regarding the legal process that governs embryo adoption, including information related to embryo donation and adoption contracts and federal, state, local laws and FDA mandates.
